SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by MARSHA BURNS
This is a time when you can and must release all things
from the past so that you can move forward in My will and
purposes. Cut the ties that bind or keep you bound
through disappointment and failure. Keep your focus on
the eternal now, and stay ever present with Me, says the
Lord. I am doing a mighty liberating work in your hearts
and minds. You would do well to cooperate with this work
and set your sights on freedom.
Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ
Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Ty for posting, Petra,,,YEAH GOD! TY JESUS! FREEDOM, YES INDEED!!! Set my face like flint, I have, & I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Thank you Petra. I just want to encourage our OH family in this word also. I have been asking Him to search my heart for those things that limit Him or bind me in my life. In response to that last night I know He did some more of that for me. I realized last night that nagging persistent feelings of failure had still been buried in my heart regarding the losses I'd experienced. While I had given many of these areas over to Him, I realized that this sense of failure...in not being there for others/for not being braver to witness to them etc...was still lodged within me & was responsible for feelings that I held that I wasn't worthy of experiencing His healing.
When I placed this realization before Him last night I know He helped me see that not only did Jesus bear my sins & diseases on His cross, but He also bore my personal failures as well as my successes...those things that I thought justified me in His eyes but which in reality still fell short of His righteousness. It was a really freeing moment to realize that just as my successes are worthless before Him to earn anything for me, salvation or healing etc. I also received from Him the truth that my failures are not enough to keep me from receiving the blessings He died to purchase for us freely.
It was a time of Father touching some of those deep parts again in preparation to walk in more of the freedom that He has purposed & purchased for us to walk in. So, invite HIm in to revisit with you some of those old hurts that have dogged you...perhaps like me, there are still some living roots that need His attention so that He can draw you even closer to His heart & help you walk in His perfect Love & perfect Freedom as He wants.

Well, thanks to Marsha :) ! I read regularly Small Straws
in a Soft Wind and as many , I' ve also been very blessed
by doing that.

Yes, Colleen, me too I' m very aware of some of my living
roots today.. but as you said, He can draw us closer and
closer to His heart: when we become aware of those roots
and find out that we are totally helpless fighting them
and come to surrender He can do miracles of life..
