I was in prayer and saw the eye of an eagle looking fierce- his eye on distant prey. He had them in his cross hairs so to speak. He marked them. He moved in on them. Like a predator, he cased them. Suddenly, he swooped down and was upon them/ and then I was the prey. Overwhelmed, he was upon me, and the eye of the eagle who found me from a distance now transformed in my face, and became the eye of the dove, so soft, loving and kind.
To those who are far, he is a predator of souls, seeking them, putting them in his sights, willing to do what it takes to "capture them", to those who are near he is the eye of the loving, precious, dove. The teacher, the truth bearer, leading us, guiding us, into all truth. Precious, fearless; fiercely loving dove ...
