I had a dream yesterday that I was in a large cave. There
were 3 sets of Polynesian type canoes near the mouth of the
cave. They were each filled with about 6~8 island type
men. I was standing on some stairs in the cave a ways from
them. I felt a prompt to go higher. As I did,I could see
a;large wall of sea water coming towards me. There was a
wondow on the upper wall of the cave. I started going
higher and the water rushed through the cave. I became a
litle frightened but then the water only came up to my
knees no higher.
I turned around. I saw no one but there was a magazine
opened to the picture of a young toddler girl about 12~18
mos old. Her eyes were round and the darkest brown.
She;was staring right into me. Then the dream ended.
My first thought was to ask the Lord where this might take
place. The only clues I have were the canoes at the
beginning of the dream and the little;girl. She seemed to
look of either Samoan or Malaysian ancestry.
Any thoughts??

As I was reading, I flashed back to a dream someone else had had...
In his dream he was driving in a big city, like chicago, and all of a
sudden it started to look like the scene of the street during 9/11 and
he said he was H.S. prompted to get back in his car and start driving...
the Lord directed him through the chaos and out of the main city to
safety...
In both dreams, it was the Lord's prompting that saved lives...
I would sa He telling us to be ready to listen and obey... right away...
maybe our lives will depend on it...

Follow Our Leader
I had a vision a few months ago that came to. Mind right as I pressed
the 'post reply' button....
I was in a really thick jungle... Jesus was the leader with a machette
cutting a path... it was so thick that I had to stay right on his heels or I
would be lost.
I knew that the "stuff" of today that distracts you and keeps you
from staying right with Jesus, was the Jungle... I also knew that ALL I
had to do was follow Him, step by step, and He would get us through
it and safely home...

Hey Deborah. As I was reading your post I
felt no danger. And I also heard waves of
his glory. The greatest move of God this
world has ever seen. It will indeed change
this world. The men in the canoe are relying
on things that aren't stable. Who would be
in a canoe when a tsunami is coming? Surely
they will be overtaken by their own folly.
This is what will happen to those who rely
on the things of this world instead of
obeying the voice of the Lord. But you who
heard moved up higher will be as Psalm 91
declares as the cave is a place of safety.
When I think about the girl, her age
references the length of time. But hidden
within that is another message. 18-12=6
which is the number that represents man. And
I heard "as it was in the days of Noah".
This isn't to destroy mankind but to cleanse
the world of everything that defiles. And
while the purpose is the same, the effects
will differ from person to person depending
on where they stand with God.

Thanks so much Jane, Ashlee and Quo for your comments and
insights.
I am still learning how to interpret so I learned a lot
from what each of you shared. I had thought just like you
guys all did that it was a metaphorical reference of Gods
glory. The only thing that changed my mind that it could
be natural too was when I saw the little girl. I mean just
like Quo I wasnt really frightened so I need to correct my
original comment that said I was. Also the temperature of
the water was pleasant as it washed over me. God bless you
guys and thanks for all you shared.

I was looking up info on white birds because of a dream I had and
came across actual footage of the tsunami in Phuket in 2004 - at first
there was a small wave that fooled everyone into thinking it was over
followed by the biggest wave ever maybe 10 minutes later. Not sure
why I found this but I do not expect the wave in your dream to be
destructive but restorative.

Deborah,
When I read your dream, I was intrigued. The Holy Spirit started leading me
and reminding me of scripture, things I've looked up in the past. I started
inquiring online based on these nudgings, and came to this site. I
encourage you to read it, but primarily it landed square in the middle of
Ezekiel 47:1-12, which speaks of "healing waters and trees…"

The points that stuck out to me in your dream are in here… your talking
about the water coming up to your knees - no higher. See verse 4 and the
interpretation in the link. It's an encouragement dream directed right at
you. I believe the little girl was you. You're on your walk "up" and into the
deeper waters. Again, encouragement. The other thing I think is so cool is your remarking on the boats "Polynesian type canoes." See verses 9 and 10!
I believe the men you saw in the "canoes" represent the fishermen.
This is a neat dream! Run with it my sister prayer warrior :)
