Releasing Control – Receiving Power

- Love purifies.
- Love brings holiness and righteousness.
- Holiness and righteousness bring faith and power.
- Faith and power bring the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth.
The God kind of love comes ONLY through intimate relationship with God by the Spirit.
All true love originates in God. God is love. It is not possible to have love apart from God. God in us is love from heaven come to earth.
The power that produced the supernatural miracles through Christ Jesus while in His natural body on earth was the direct result of intimate connection with Father by the Spirit. Being born the Son of God allowed Him to enter into intimate oneness with Father without the restraints of the sin heritage of Adam. However, Jesus did no miracles until after the Holy Spirit came to rest and remained on Him, when the Father spoke from heaven and proclaimed Him a mature Son with the full inheritance of the Father.
Men, women, boys, and girls are entering into intimate oneness with God through Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit. This is not a knowledge thing; this is a real spiritual supernatural intimate relationship with Spirit God. God’s love is purifying a people in our day that we may be endued with power to transform our world into the kingdom of God on earth.
Through true intimate spiritual oneness with God we release control of our lives to Him. Total control of our lives is turned over to God allowing Him to live in our bodies, so that He can use all of this marvelous complex equipment that is called our bodies as a place for Him to live and work from in the earth to fill the earth with the glory of heaven on earth. Until we lose control we can never fully experience the love and power of God flowing through our bodies to the world.
Centuries ago we took control and lost the power.
The powerless church systems of the past were often places of sometimes subtle but usually strong control. Organizational hierarchy established foundational covenantal rules based on biblical interpretation that defined the doctrines, beliefs, and subsequently the behavior of the people who were members of the specific church system. The behavior and rules were affirmed, strengthened, and to varying degrees enforced by the hierarchical governing systems.
In the early twentieth century the gifts of the Spirit began to be restored to the people of God in a fresh outpouring of Pentecostal-type experience. Great opposition developed from the leaders of the existing church systems, who did not receive the fresh move of restoration from God. The ground-swell movement from the people eventually became so strong that some existing systems began to adjust to at least a replica of the free worship and ministry style of the fresh move of God.
Eventually new hierarchical religious systems formed that were based in the Pentecostal/Charismatic style worship and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The new systems began to impose the same human government form of control as the previous powerless religious systems. New denominations were formed that soon began to revert back toward the systems of the old lifeless order. The systems of man-made governance were like a wet blanket applied to the fire of the Holy Spirit. Eventually only the form and terminology remained of the fading love and power of the outpourings of the Spirit of God.
Another System Developed
Independent church governance structures based upon a one-man senior pastor ruling through a group of associate pastors grew into place. For the most part, the “senior pastor” and his family maintained full control over the entire church or ministry; in most cases this included ownership of all the assets of the organization through an independent non-profit type corporation. Some of these pastor-ruled style churches became mega churches with thousands of members. Many people within the structure of these mega churches sought for favor of the “senior pastor” and the associate pastors in an attempt to be elevated into places of service to the congregation.
God, in His mercy, has worked as much as possible in all of the various man-made systems that formed from the spiritual outpourings of freshly restored revelation of the works of the Holy Spirit. However, man’s rule limited and eventually eroded the works of the Holy Spirit in most, if not all, of them.
God is Pouring out His Spirit to Establish His Kingdom
In the last twenty years of the twentieth century and the first part of the twenty first century, the revelation of the gospel of the kingdom began to be restored to God’s people. The beginnings of the revelation of the gospel of the kingdom of God came forth in pure-hearted men of God largely “outside the camp” of the existing systems. The “Christ-in-you” generation of purified holy people of God becoming the bride of Christ, the spiritual wife of God, is being formed and prepared to bring forth the intensely bright light of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
Sovereignly, a relatively few mature men of God scattered across the world, who had gone through much of the previous moves of God, were arrested by the Spirit of God and individually set apart to receive the revelation of the gospel of the kingdom as Jesus and the first-century disciples had proclaimed and demonstrated it. Most of the body of Christ is now in the process of beginning to hear the greater gospel of the kingdom that was seeded into the earth through these men.
The blinders imposed by the man-made systems that hide the fullness of the Spirit and the word of the gospel of the kingdom are beginning to be removed. Many are now seeing that Christ is in them by the Holy Spirit to do the will of God on earth as it is in heaven. The same works that Christ did in His natural body in the first century are beginning to come forth through the kingdom people of God. Even greater works will be done as Christ works from within the many members of His body on earth.
Many are called but few are chosen.
All people are called to repent and turn to the cross of Jesus to lose their past life and receive the promise of the Father - the life of God in them by the Holy Spirit filling and saturating them with the life of God replacing their old life. However, many are not choosing to allow their lives to become living sacrifices unto God.
Only those who willingly lay down their lives as living sacrifices at God’s altar of His mercy’s forgiveness and grace’s empowerment are chosen. Only those emptied of self and who abandon the control of their own lives to the Holy Spirit are chosen. Only those who come to the wedding wearing the proper garment are allowed to attend the marriage feast of intimate oneness with the Bride Groom (Mat 22:9-14). In the parable of the wedding feast many are invited but few are chosen. The chosen are those who come to the feast wearing the proper garment. These are the chosen ones who can be a part of the wedding (intimately relating to the King).
I do not believe this is all about being saved or lost as far as going to heaven after we die. I believe this is much more about coming into the fullness of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven now in this day of the manifesting kingdom of God.
Luke 24:49 "Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high."
The word translated “endued” in the above verse means to be clothed, to sink down into clothing. The Holy Spirit baptism is the power of the Spirit coming upon us – submerging us in the Spirit of God (Acts 1:4-5, 8). This is the garment that we must wear to intimately relate to God in the Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings love that leads to holiness and righteousness which brings faith and power. The Holy Spirit coming upon us clothes us with righteousness, faith, and power.
Acts 1:8: "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Holy Spirit-Empowered Kingdom
The spiritual outpouring of the love and power of God is being sent from heaven to earth to prepare a holy people of righteousness to do the supernatural work of receiving the kingdom of God from heaven and bringing it forth on earth. Layer by layer God is restoring mankind with the attributes of God dwelling within.
God is choosing the nobodies and the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Not many who are mighty and noble in the natural are chosen. It is the work of the Holy Spirit come upon and within the simple people of God and not the work of the greatest minds and strongest bodies that is bringing forth the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
The reality of the Holy Spirit abundant life within and upon us releases the supernatural power of God through Christ Jesus living and ruling in our bodies where we once lived. This awesome unexplainable brightness of joy and peace exploding and flooding our being within reduces us to love. Knowing, experiencing His life of righteousness and brilliant light of actually being one with God burns away all our previous pride of life and all needs.
We are completely healed and made whole in His powerful presence within and upon us. Pure and holy humility along with unreserved power absolutely flow from us having great effect on the world around us. Evil must flee as the power of God in Christ by the Spirit is poured out of us to all around us. There is no need for acting humble or trying from our understanding to be like Jesus or act holy and pious. It is an unavoidable result of truly becoming one Spirit and one body with God.
We have entered the beginning of the season of the manifestation of the kingdom of God on earth from heaven within the hearts and lives of His people flowing out to the world. These are times of intense love and power poured out upon the children with gentleness and as a lion’s roar toward evil.
God is separating the sheep for inheritance of the kingdom.
This is not a season for half-way and uncertain proclamations of peace and agreement with unbelief, doubt, and every work of evil. Lines are being drawn by God separating the sheep from the goats. The pretenders are being separated from the real – the stiff necked from those who willingly give up their past lives of mixture of religion mingled with pride and lust for the things of this world. Separation is taking place between those in whom the Spirit of God rules and those who are not truly becoming living sacrifices.
God’s love strengthens the godliness in people. Human compassion seeking to replicate God’s love can strengthen the evil in people. Pure and Holy discernment comes from a pure heart that has become one with Christ Jesus. True love of God for His people does not support evil but sets His people free to walk in purity of His holiness in righteousness, peace, and joy of His love.
Keep on pursuing Love. Love never fails
and His kingdom never ends.
